(2025-26 Sem 2) Serve 2Gather: Visit Subdivided Unit Families with Hollywood Actress JuJu Chan

About the Event

Co-organised with Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong, this special event combines skill-building with meaningful community service. Participants will team up with Hollywood Actress JuJu Chan – a passionate advocate who has actively supported Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong through community visits and hands-on home improvement work - to bring care and connection to families living in subdivided units in Kowloon City.

Language requirement: must be fluent in both Cantonese and English (bilingual)

Objectives:

Empower youth through hands-on service and leadership opportunities.
Strengthen community engagement and raise awareness of housing issues via authentic storytelling.
Assist Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong to prepare social media content and long-term impact stories.

Event Details

Dates: 13 January 2026 (Tuesday)
Time: 10 am – 4 pm
Venue: Kowloon City, Kowloon

Rundown:

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Interactive workshop on communication and marketing skills
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Event briefing
1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Community visit to subdivided unit families
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Debrief & reflection

Learning Outcomes:

Develop practical communication and marketing skills through an interactive workshop.
Gain hands-on experience by visiting families living in subdivided units and sharing care and concern.
Collaborate with JuJu Chan, who actively empowers youth to create positive impact.
