Bank of China (Hong Kong) Bursaries 2024-25:
Fifteen bursaries of HK$10,000 each are now open for application.
Eligibility:
Local full-time year 2 or above undergraduate students with financial needs from HKU Business School are eligible for the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Bursaries 2024-25.
Criteria:
Priority goes to students
- In receipt of Government Grant/Loan with demonstrated needs not covered by Tertiary Student Finance Scheme - Publicly-funded Programmes (TSFS) / Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP). Students are expected to make full use of Government Grant and Loan facilities;
- With sudden unexpected changes in family circumstances who face undue hardship in pursuing their studies without financial support;
- With a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.6 or above;
- With active involvement in community services and other extra-curricular activities;
- Without other source of university support.

2. Upload supporting documents.
If you cannot upload the files successfully or you have additional supporting documents, please email the files to cedarsufa@hku.hk within 2 working days.
List of Supporting Documents to be uploaded:
1. Copy of your TSFS Application form in the current academic year.
2. If you have not applied for TSFS in the current academic year, you are required to complete a Supplementary Information Sheet detailing the financial circumstances of your family. Such form can be downloaded from here
Application deadline: 7 February 2025 (Wednesday)
Notification of Results:
1. CEDARS will notify students who have been recommended to the donor by March 2025.
2. The final result is expected to be released via CEDARS / Committee on Campus Life by June 2025.
