Want to meet new friends all around the world? Would you like to know more about different countries' cultures and traditions? If you do so, you shall not miss this golden chance to join “Global Vibe - Multi-cultural Fun Day with Youth and Families”! 

We would like to invite both local and non-local students in this activity and enjoy a day with our ethnic minority families. All of you will join hands to complete a series of tasks and games, and participate in various cultural activities (such as DIY workshop and dancing!) You can get to know more about the distinct cultures and traditions of each other as well as build up a strong relationship between different groups. 

Programme Details

Day 1 - Preparation and Urdu Workshop
Date: 18 Feb 2023 (Sat)
Time: 12:00-16:00
Location: HKU
Content: team-building activities, service day preparation and discussion, Urdu workshop

Day 2 - Multi-cultural Fun Day with Youth and Families
Date: 26 Feb 2023 (Sun)
Time: 10:00 - 17:00
Location: HKU
Service targets: international secondary school students and ethnic minority families
Content: warm-up games, HKU campus tour and university hunt, cultural activities (e.g., multilingual “fai-chun” DIY workshop and dancing activities)

Fee: $30 + $50 Deposit*
*Refundable upon completion of the programme with satisfactory performance.

Remarks:
Exemption may apply to participants who are able to provide written proofs (such as unavoidable academic reasons/sick leave) in case they are unable to attend any session of the programme. University & College YMCA Department of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong reserves the right of final decision for any disputes.

Membership Information

Applicants must be the members of University YMCA (HKU). Please ensure that all applicants have completed membership registration and have both 1) the membership number and 2) the expiry date.

Important Points to Note

1. Applicants must be the members of University & College YMCA. You are welcome to join our membership during application of the programme. 參加者須為大學及學院青年會會友，歡迎於報名時即時入會。

2. Limited quota applies. The Organiser reserves the right to close entries before the announced deadline without prior notice. 活動名額有限，主辦單位有權提前截止報名而不作另行通知。

3. The Organiser reserves the right to void any applications with invalid information and/or submitted via improper procedures. 若參加者提供的資料有任何錯誤或不依照正確程序報名，主辦單位保留拒絕接受其參加權。

4. Membership fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. 一經繳費，會費在任何情況下都不會退還。

5. Participants shall check the email inbox regularly, in order to receive the most updated event information. 參加者有義務定期檢查電郵郵箱，以獲得最新活動資訊，否則參加者須自行承擔其造成的所有損失。

6. Deposits will be returned upon satisfactory performance in all activities on time. 參加者必須表現良好、準時出席及順利完成所有活動方可獲退回按金。

7. The organiser reserves the right to make all decisions in relation to the event, including but not limited to the confirmation of entries, the arrangement of the event, and the amendment to the terms or conditions without prior notice. 主辦單位保留對是次活動的最終決定權，包括但不限於取錄參加者及活動安排，以及保留增減、修改及刪除條款及細則之權利，而不作事先通知。

I agree to participate in this activity and comply with disciplinary requirements. 4. The Organiser reserves the right to contact participants by phone or other means for additional information required for the application. 本會有權以電話或其他方式聯絡參加者以取得所需資訊作活動安排用途。

5. The Organiser reserves the right to void any applications with invalid information and/or submitted via improper procedures. 若參加者提供的資料有任何錯誤或不依照正確程序報名，本會保留拒絕接受其參與權利。

6. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the activity due to any circumstances beyond the organiser's control, including but not limited to insufficient enrolment, severe weather condition, social unrest, severe pandemic etc. while all application fee will not be refunded. 如發生任何主辦單位無法控制的情況導致活動無法如常舉行，包括但不限於參與人數不足、惡劣天氣或特殊社會及疫情狀況等，本會有權決定取消整個活動，所遞交之報名費不獲退還。

7. Participants must follow all instructions given by the event staff, volunteers and officials with respect to all matters regarding the event. 參加者必須尊重及遵守由本會職員、工作人員或其授權人士所發出的任何指引。

8. The Organiser reserves the right to prohibit the participants from joining without any refund of application fee if the participants violate any of the above conditions and terms. 參加者如違反上述條款，本會保留禁止其參與之權利而不作任何退款。

9.
